

At Renaissance Pilates, our team of instructors proudly practice and teach Pilates while combining their own ideas and innovations of that of a Renaissance thinker. The Renaissance Pilates concept influence’s positive change in the body and in the mind. The instructor teaches the student how to achieve optimal results both physically and mentally through specific mind body connection exercises guided by creative cuing techniques. All Renaissance Pilates instructors are highly skilled professionals trained in STOTT PILATES™ and PILATES ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL and proudly dedicate their life work towards Pilates training, always learning and applying the newest research to their teaching technique
Raintree Halpern
Raintree Halpern began her STOTT PILATES™ training at Pilates on Fifth in New York in 2003 after retiring from an intensive Ten Year career in Ballet. In 2004, she moved to Chicago were she continued her Pilates teaching at various studios, including Harmony, The Movement Center, and The Women’s Athletic Club. In 2006, she obtained and completed her Gyrotonic certification under the watchful eyes of master trainer Sebastian Plettenburg and moved back to New York City to teach both Pilates and Gyrotonic. She presently teaches at Pilates on Fifth, The Printing house (both in New York) and Renaissance Pilates and is Fully certified through both STOTT PILATES™ and Pilates Academy International (PAI) in both mat and apparatus. Raintree completed her Nutrition Degree at the Institute of Integrated Nutrition in New York and uses her knowledge to help guide her Pilates clients on how to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Rachel Haber
Rachel Haber, a STOTT PILATES™ certified instructor, started dancing at the age of two and continued to dance through high school and college, to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rutgers University at Mason Gross School of the Arts. After intense days of dancing and touring with Randy James Danceworks around New York and New Jersey, she turned to Pilates to heal her body. After just a few months of training, she began to see an amazing amount of progression in her overall alignment and strength. She immediately realized that practicing and teaching Pilates would be the next step of her life. Rachel received mat and reformer STOTT PILATES™ certifications and completed various workshops with the Stability Chair, Cadillac, and Ladder Barrel throughout instructor training certifying studios in New Jersey. She has studied intensely under various master Pilates instructors including Ellie Herman and John Garey, both of whom helped to broaden her knowledge and skill tremendously. Rachel is also a proud certified Xtend™ Instructor and contributes her love of dance through her teachings of it. She feels much gratitude toward Danielle, owner of Renaissance Pilates for helping to give her the opportunity to work with such dedicated student's at the most professional Pilates studio in Hoboken.
Danielle Htnatiuk
Danielle Htnatiuk graduated from Towson State University with a Bachelors degree in Health Services Management and a minor in Nutrition. With hopes to pursue her career in wellness and exercise shortly after, she began practicing Pilates to keep her balanced and energized. She followed through with her practice during her first pregnancy and was amazed at how Pilates helped her get back into tip top shape shortly after her daughter was born. Now, a full time mom to Isabella and devoted Pilates Instructor in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel through Pilates Academy International (PAI) at Pilates on Fifth, Danielle has made teaching her passion. Danielle also obtained her Xtend™ certification and is part of the strong Xtend™ team of instructors quickly spreading across the country. Danielle is currently working to obtain a fully certified Pilates palate to include Pre/post Natal and Special Populations.
Emily Schneider 
Emily Schneider began formal dance training at age two. At fifteen, she was introduced to Pilates while rehabilitating a hip injury and she continued taking classes as an undergraduate at the University of Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. Prior to becoming an instructor, Emily had a career in journalism at ABC News working on such broadcasts as World News Tonight with Peter Jennings, Weekend World News Tonight, This Week with George Stephanopoulos, and most extensively at Nightline with Ted Koppel. Despite her success in the media industry, Emily missed movement. That's when she found Quantum Fitness in Washington, D.C., where Master Instructor Mark Trudeau encouraged Emily to enroll in a teacher training program. After being a student of Pilates for nearly 10 years Emily became an instructor and began her teaching in South Florida both at Pulse Pilates and The Polo Club before she and her husband relocated to Hoboken. Emily is certified through Power Pilates, All-America Pilates Inc, Stroller Strides LLC and is a Master Instructor with Xtend™ Workout She has trained extensively with Dana Eisenstein, Power Pilates master trainer; and Bob Leikens, Director of Power Pilates. In July 2007 Emily gave birth to her son Tristan and knows first hand the ups and down of the pre- and post-natal fitness battle. An active member of the Pilates Method Alliance, she participates in Pilates conferences and workshops.
Danielle Gerard 
Danielle is the newest addition to the Renaissance Pilates team. Danielle received her degree in both elementary and special education, and gained a Master’s in educational psychology. Danielle is a dedicated special education teacher at an elementary school in Summit, NJ by day and a passionate Pilates instructor by night. Her natural ability to teach with special care and patience shines through in her teaching etiquette and skills, making her an exceptional Pilates instructor in all aspects. Danielle turned to Pilates to strengthen her core muscles and increase her flexibility. A long time runner, Pilates helped Danielle achieve a strong, flexible and lean physique. Danielle wanted to combine her love for teaching with her passion for Pilates. After five years as a devoted Pilates student at Pilates on Fifth in Manhattan and then at Renaissance Pilates, she became certified through Pilates Academy International in NYC, in both mat and apparatus. She has worked closely with the Renaissance Pilates team to make a seamless transition into the studio. Danielle is also part of the nationwide Xtend™ Workout team and is proud to become part of the Xtend™ team of instructors at Renaissance to teach this new and innovative Barre workout. She is very excited about being a part of Renaissance Pilates and looks forward to her growing career here.
